Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice describes what Beaufort County Released Inmates receives when people browse, search, or send a message, how that information is used, and the limited situations in which it may be shared. It also explains cookies, outside services, security limits, and choices available to users. Using the site means accepting these data practices. Government records reached through links remain under the control of the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, North Carolina courts, NCDAC, or the federal agency that created them.

Information You Submit

Search Terms

When you enter a name, location, or other detail in a search tool, the query is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Beaufort County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider may collect and handle the query under its separate privacy terms, so review those terms before submitting sensitive details.

Messages You Send

An email or contact-form message may include your name, reply address, and anything you choose to write. We retain that material as needed to read the message, respond, and keep an ordinary record of the exchange. Contact submissions are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law, a valid legal order, or the protection of legal rights.

Technical Data and Cookies
