Nature of the Service

Beaufort County Released Inmates is a private reference site. It is not part of the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, Beaufort County Detention Center, North Carolina Department of Adult Correction, North Carolina Judicial Branch, BOP, ICE, or any other public office. The site does not store official custody files and cannot confirm a person's status, release anyone, issue an order, submit a court filing, or change a government record.

Content points visitors toward county, state, court, supervision, and federal record resources as well as outside research tools. Public access to official North Carolina records is controlled by the government custodian and applicable law, including the North Carolina Public Records Act in Chapter 132. Links and summaries do not replace an answer from the office that created the record.

Acceptable Use Rules

You may use the site only for lawful, respectful purposes. Access is conditioned on compliance with the following limits:

• Do not violate any local, state, federal, or other applicable law.
• Do not stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm another person.
• Do not use site information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another eligibility decision.
• Do not attempt to enter an account, server, network, or system without authorization.
• Do not use bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools.

No Consumer Reports or Screening

Beaufort County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare or provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Its advertising and search partners do not provide FCRA screening services through this site. By using the service, you agree not to use its content or linked results for:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or another employment decision.
• Tenant selection, lease approval, or another housing decision.
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing and eligibility.
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government program.
• Any other decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Service Provided As Is

All content, tools, and links are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, no express or implied warranty is made concerning:

Custody status, release information, court events, and public databases can change without notice. Nothing published here is an official statement by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, a jail, NCDAC, a court, or another government agency. Confirm important details with the office that owns the record.

Limits of Liability
