By browsing or using any part of the site, you agree to follow these terms and all laws that apply to your activity. If you do not accept every condition, stop using the site. Private service disclosure. Beaufort County Released Inmates is privately owned and has no affiliation with a government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. It helps visitors locate inmate, release, and jail-record resources for Beaufort County and North Carolina. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provides credit, employment, insurance, tenant-screening, or another FCRA-covered service. The site is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Service

Beaufort County Released Inmates is a private reference site. It is not part of the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, Beaufort County Detention Center, North Carolina Department of Adult Correction, North Carolina Judicial Branch, BOP, ICE, or any other public office. The site does not store official custody files and cannot confirm a person's status, release anyone, issue an order, submit a court filing, or change a government record.

Content points visitors toward county, state, court, supervision, and federal record resources as well as outside research tools. Public access to official North Carolina records is controlled by the government custodian and applicable law, including the North Carolina Public Records Act in Chapter 132. Links and summaries do not replace an answer from the office that created the record.

Outside Links and Services

The site links to the Beaufort County sheriff's detention page, NCDAC correctional searches, North Carolina eCourts, legal information, and third-party search services. A link is supplied for convenience and does not mean Beaufort County Released Inmates endorses the destination. We do not control an outside site's content, accuracy, privacy practices, data handling, availability, or security. Review that service's own terms and policies before using it.

Service Provided As Is

All content, tools, and links are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, no express or implied warranty is made concerning:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or current state of any information.

Nothing published here is an official statement by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, a jail, NCDAC, a court, or another government agency. Confirm important details with the office that owns the record.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Beaufort County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, content partners, and service providers are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from access to, reliance on, inability to use, or use of the site, its information, its links, or a partner service.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute concerning these terms or use of the service must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction located in North Carolina, unless controlling law requires a different forum.
